Kontraboken is melodies gathered from 3 different projects by JOAKIM GRANLUND: SOARING SKYLARK, AALTO and URBERGET.
The URBERGET tracks are more in an ambient/experimental rock style, while AALTO is more experimental with a slight acoustic/folk touch, and SOARING SKYLARK could best be described as electronic ambient music.

First of all: Joakim Granlund. Librarian. Sound Collector. Vocalist of the old death / thrash band Leukemia. Sometimes you have to let the sounds play their own lives.

aalto is a part of Patrik Hörberg hut project. Patrik lives like in the hut. Several exhibitions have been organized where huts his is the primary. For 2 of the exhibitions aalto has composed melodic huts.
Urberget, the current. The coarse. It's the loudest. A cassette release of Ingen Våg. Upcoming is a triple split cassette with Solo Archivist and Folkfrakt. Also on Ingen Våg. A couple of tapes left. 6$

A: THE AALTO-TUNES WERE MADE FOR AN EXHIBITION BY SWEDISH ARTIST PATRIK HÖRBERG AND ARE RELEASED WITH A SIGNED BOARD. REALLY NICE ONE I MUST SAY. SOARING SKYLARK RELEASED A CD-R ON NETLABEL BARRSKOGEN, NAMED OPEN AIR SLEEP. TAPELABEL INGEN VÅG RELEASED URBERGET-URBERGET.
Q: Since when does this project exist/are you into music?
A: I'VE ALWAYS BEEN INTO MUSIC IN SOME WAY, BUT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I REALLY CREATE WHAT I WANT WITHOUT OTHER PEOPLE INVOLVED.

A: OLD DEATHTRASH-BAND LEUKEMIA WHICH RELEASED 2 ALBUMS IN THE 90´S AND DUTCH LABEL VIC RECORDS IS PLANNING A RELEASE OF AN ALBUM CALLED LOVE, RECORDED 1994.

A: INSTRUMENTAL GOTHIC POP WITH FOLK INFLUENCES
