Recommended listening!
"I am from Tallahassee, Florida. I go to FSU, I am a film student. I recorded all of my music through the built in mic on my macbook, but it does not sound that bad."
Q: When recorded?
A: Those 4 songs I sent you were recorded in the last 6 months on my laptop.
Q: Who involved? Who played what?
A: I was the only person involved, I used an Alesis Ion synthesizer and a bunch of effect pedals.
Q: Any more releases? any "official" releases (label?)?
A: I do not have any other releases.
Q: Since when does this project exist/are you into music?
A: I have been recording ambient electronic stuff for the past 8 months or so. I am also in a noise band called James Bondage.
Q: How'd you "label" your music? (I know... nobody wants to get labeled... bla bla bla...)
A: I would label my music as ambient electronic.
Q: Influences?
A: My biggest influences are probably Bjork, Animal Collective, Aphex twin, The Zombies.
Q: The last five records you bought/doenloaded?
A: The last 4 albums I downloaded are, Oddsac (Animal Collective) which has my favorite music of any of their albums. Oneohtrix Point Never (rifts), an album by Gobble Gobble, Boat Boat by Totally Nebular, and the new Women album.
Q: Website, myspace?
A: My myspace is http://www.myspace.com/taylorcohan
Q: Anything that you think is interesting, that you'd like to inform the blog readers about...
A: Um, I don't really know what else to say about myself. I am in love (with) Movies and plan to incorporate more visual shit in my upcoming songs.
