"There is so much great music here..." WHERE TO START???

I recommend to start with the HLFP-Samplers (especially HLFP 04).
Here you will come to know many of the bands/musicians featured in this blog. If you like what you hear, you may check out more of their music later on.

There is also a "FOCUS ON..." section. Here you will find albums that imo are absolutely great (***** = "five-stars-recordings") and that are essential listening and strongly recommended for download.


I TRY to RE-UP some stuff that has been down from time to

time, but I still don't have enough time to

listen to/post much new stuff.

Traummaschine live in London, SAT. 24th Jan. 2009 - video

The Spanish neo krautrock/experimental band TRAUMMASCHINE played in LONDON on Sat. 24th Jan. 2009. Here are some photos...

... and you can also watch part of the performance on video (Luis and Paco have sent me a link that leads to Vimeo, a video portal, documenting the band's work: combining playing krautrock ambient music and live painting). In London TRAUMMASCHINE were accompanied by GEOFF LEIGH and Colectivo "Chat Verd".

Also documented on Vimeo is a performance by the band amidst a group of kindergarden age children who are painting (under advise from ALBERTO CASTELLO) while the band improvises. Nice to watch!
