From Mexican Hat, Utah, USA, come the FLOWERS OF DISGUST (at least that's what Myspace says; Cat o' Nine Tails Media says: Shawnee Mission, KS). They play "Viking barbershop cyber-thrash" (both sources).
Their main themes are: "loneliness, isolation, despair, monkeys, robots, bees, horses, technology, entropy, the struggle of the working class, love, etc."
Get the picture?
"'The Giraffe in Paris' is my FAVORITE of our records. It's probably the most consistant collection of songs and is the one I usually play for people who are new to the band. It really has it all: Songs based on video games, songs about eating food, songs about horses, a 7+ minute rap song about making a huge sandwich, etc." (Danny Gibson)
This here is sheer madness - don't expect any conventional pop songs here - this stuff is DIFFERENT! Is it psychedelic? Well, I don't know. Maybe. But rather there are some traces of ZAPPA or TOM WAITS weirdness to be found (though musically most of this stuff here is quite different from F.Z.'s). Anyway: Accept no limits, I'd say!
Great stuff - strongly recommended! And great fun to listen to!

Hi. I'd love to see 'Wilt and Loom' by Paneye posted on your site. I think it'd fit in nicely.
