"I started MOONFIRE ten years ago at the age of twelve together with a friend who came up with the name. First we were recording melodic black metal which after my friend left the "band" became more and more experimental and psychedelic. In 2005 I recorded a second album which was a departure from the metal sound into noise/experimental/psychedelic/ electronic/wtf? rock territory. At the end of 2009 I finished my third album..."
As you can hear, the days of melodic black metal are long over – this here is a work of maturaty, meditation and spirituality.
